Body of missing Knysna woman found

The body of Meghan Cremer who went missing on 3 August 2019, was found on a farm in Philippi, Cape Town. Shortly after her disappearance, police arrested three men for being in possession of a suspected stolen vehicle. The vehicle in question belonged to Cremer.

According to police spokesperson, Capt. F.C. Van Wyk, three men were arrested on Saturday 3 August 2019 at around 8pm for being in possession of a stolen vehicle. Further investigation determined that the vehicle belonged to Cremer.

The search operation lead police to a sand mine on a farm in Philippi where Cremer's body was found at approximately 1am on Thursday 8 August 2019.

The suspects, aged 27, 34, and 35 appeared in the Athlone Magistrates Court on Thursday on charges relating to the possession of a stolen vehicle. The 27 year old suspect is also facing a murder charge.
